Oh my god, “Kaylin’s mom” is hysterical! I have so many names in my phone who are just someone’s mom and dad and I’m too embarrassed to ask their name now! I used to be able to ask the teachers but middle school has been that too difficult. They don’t know either!
Oh my god just seeing Cailou’s name triggered me. I now have teenage sons so it has been a while since I watched that show BUT the way that show portrayed his Mum all grumpy and saggy, and clearly not wearing a bra was inexcusable! She had clearly given up and I don’t blame her, having a whining brat of a son but still we are here trying to keep it all together and put a bra on in the mornings! Sorry…I was triggered. Loved the post. Thanks!
Valid 🤣 I credit that show and one called Triplets (I think?) for being the reason I stopped watching TV as a kid. I think I watched those two shows back-to-back and suddenly went, "I hate these shows... why am I watching them? I have better things to do." Then I probably went to play with Lego instead, haha
Caillou is very triggering. I didn’t remember so much about the mom though, that’s funny. I didn’t let me kids watch it much simply because I couldn’t stand it.
I relate so much to this. Luckily my kids missed the Caillou phenomenon, but my daughter went through a phase where all she wanted to watch was these videos like Baby Shark. I swear if I never hear “wheels on the bus” again, it will be too soon.
And the “Kaylin’s mom” thing is for real. With an extrovert for a son, I have several numbers saved in my phone that way.

Ha! There are few shows better than playing with Legos. I was sad when my daughters no longer wanted to build Legos with me!

Haha kids’ interstate soccer tournaments are out of control!
I have traveled many miles and spent many nights at subpar hotels for volleyball. It is crazy.
These are great. Love the one about the second best friend whose name you don’t know. Been there. 🤣
OMG! These were hilarious. Nothing has changed! Was Caillou a modern Charlie Brown? Both suffering from very early male pattern baldness?
Maybe! The question is, why do people believe this is what kids will connect with?!
And yet kids do. Haha.
HA HA HA! These are great! Thanks for the chuckle.
Thanks, Anne!
I often keep them in my phone this way too!

Some of these are too funny! Love it!
